An oasis is fertile area in the middle of a hot and dry desert with fresh water and shade from the heat of the sun. Those traveling through the desert often stop at an oasis to be refreshed before heading out on their journey again.
The mission of Oasis Youth Ministries is to be an "oasis" for youth in the middle of what can be a harsh and unforgiving world. Youth who truly live out their faith and stand strong in what they believe can be met with resistance and need to be refreshed. That is exactly what OYM strives to do. We strive to encourage and refresh youth on their journey through life through the teaching of God's Word, the friendship of fellow believers, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Each week at the "oasis", youth will be challenged to act on God's Word in new and bold ways, be encouraged to continue to live out their faith among others, and be helped whenever they hit a bump in the road and need to be refreshed before beginning their journey again.
Youth will be encouraged to continue to boldly live out their faith knowing that they have a strong support system to encourage them along the way.
